Aldous Huxley - Brave New World (1932)

shoutout olivia for recommending

The cynical narration of Hitchhiker’s Guide meets the apocalyptic and anti-government nature of Fahrenheit 451 (which I suppose also had its respective wit, but nonetheless) here in Brave New World. This book is really something.

Also the idea of a guy only knowing about love from Shakespeare books falling in love is really funny conceptually, if not just very interesting, and in execution even has a twinge of dystopian sadness. Very very good book
