xkcd: the book

What Rocky IV is to football coach dads who hate communism is what Microserfs is to early millennial/late gen-xer computer nerds. I guess more accurately put, it's the math nerd-equivalent to the english-nerd-centric cast of The Secret History's first act, before everything devolves into chaos. Most of the book is a product of reference humor but in a way that feels charming rather than annoying. I had a pretty good time reading this, I'll definitely be sure to check out Coupland's other books.
