Henrik Ibsen - A Doll's House (1879)

72

For whatever reason, my English class insisted on taking FOUR WEEKS to read what is in essence a seventy page long play. That's about 4 pages a DAY. And yes I am well aware I wrote those first two sentences in a manner akin to Greg Heffley, but I'm sure you'll be able to get over it. Anyway, I decided to just read the last fifteen pages on my own and it took roughly three minutes, which is funny because it means I could've finished the book in 14 minutes, as opposed to the 900 we were supposed to be using the class time to get through it. I know I haven't said anything about the actual play yet but I want to emphasize how agonizing reading this was in a classroom setting. At least I got to be Krogstad :)
