Margaret Atwood - The Handmaid's Tale (1985)

Pretty good book. Writing feels somewhat reminiscent of Suzanne Collins with some notable twinges of Aldous Huxley, and the overall takeaways were very profound, running a lot deeper than just some bland statement about gender roles (which it so easily could've gotten away with being) and instead portraying the issues of gender politics in society with a very strong level of nuance that felt well thought-out as well as well-done.
In other words, common feminist literature and dystopian literature w.
