Kinda like the play equivalent to hearing John Cage's 4'33 for the first time: you expect something, really anything at all, and instead [in Willy Wonka voice:] YOU GET NOTHING! YOU LOSE!
Like, the book's entire premise can be summed up with its title. I mean the ending's pretty out there of course but everything before it is as simple as just "two dudes wait for another dude". I dig it. Pretty weird, pretty good play.
