I haven’t read any of Achebe’s other books but I think this guy might be a genius. This might just be because I’m a freak for thematically rich books about the inner evil desires of man but yeah this book is real neat. Kinda keeps you guessing. Without spoiling too much, I thought the escapades in the first act would be the main conflict but no I was quite surprised by the plot shift with the white Christians arriving in the second act
